Thomas is renowned for his performance of transcriptions of orchestral music. COPLAND: Appalachian Spring POULENC: Organ Concerto in G minor BEETHOVEN: Symphony No 6 "Pastoral" Guest Conductor Andrew Mogrelia from San Francisco joins the CSO for this evening of lyrical beauty. Australian organ virtuoso, Christopher Wrench, showcases the new organ at Llewellyn Hall with the brilliant concerto by Poulenc while we open and close the concert with Copland and Beethoven celebrating the splendour of Nature.
